Day 2: Smell that Baby Head

Babies. Smell. Amazing. This is cliche AND indisputably true. I love leaning down and breathing in the sweet scent of my babe. These first days in the sterile hospital, mind aflutter with the overwhelming task of caring for this tiny being, I find myself coming back again and again to her oh so alluring sickly-sweet aroma and inhaling deeply.

So use those olfactory glands for their given purpose and take your babe in.
